Oh , happy day! Mariah Carey’s new video is here and she is looking fiercer than ever. Of course it’s a whole lotta hair swishing and some MC posing but the video is a quaint little affair. The lovely MC brought it again and she looks better than most of dem young girls!
As of now, this single is from our current favorite album of the same name. James Blake is bringing the soft tempo to its most minimal and beautiful here. This looks a little like Madonna’s “Frozen” video though. Give it a couple of spins and you will know what we mean!
Justin Timberlake’s second single has gotten a video treatment. “Mirrors,” unfortunately, sounds exactly like “Cry Me A River,” which is not a decade old! We don’t know why his management thought this would be a good sound to go with because it just shows that he hasn’t evolved that much since his debut solo album.
British soul chanteuse and two-time BRIT Award nominee Jessie Ware will release her critically acclaimed UK Top 5 debut album Devotion in the U.S. on April 16th through Cherrytree Records/Interscope. The U.S. version will feature two previously unreleased tracks, the Ware co-penned “Imagine It Was Us” and “Wildest Moments” (remix) featuring A$AP Rocky. The Mercury Prize-nominated Devotion spawned five singles in the UK — all of which are included on the U.S. version — including Ware’s debut U.S. single “Wildest Moments,” which she performed with The Roots on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in January.
